Welcome to the Confidence in Christ podcast. I’m Kala and I’m here to offer you the opportunity to grow in your confidence of the Lord. Through interviews with friends, simple and practical scripture application to your life and some good old fashion tough love at times, you will be more equipped to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ after hanging out here with us. I’m a woman just like you, who loves the Lord with all my heart and is doing my best to follow his will for my life. Meeting you here weekly and passing on the knowledge he has given me is part of what that looks like. I’m so honored that you’re here and I can’t wait to help you get to know God in new and exciting ways!

Ep. 7: Dave Rahn/ You, Me & Jesus
Dr. Dave Rahn is a former tenured professor at Huntington University, has a masters in educational ministry, a PhD in educational psychology and was also the senior Vice President Chief Ministry Officer with Youth for Christ. He has many tools in his tool belt when it comes to ministry, life and baseball and is always an encouragement to others. He is the co-author of the book Disrupting Teens with Joy and co-host of the Fresh Catch 2.0 podcast. He will also be receiving the Distinguished Educator Award this summer for his great contributions in youth ministry education. Today we will be chatting about what it’s like to have intimacy with Jesus while inviting other to come into that space with us. How we can share our Christ focused lives with others and be people who listen well and relentlessly lead others to love, know, enjoy and obey Jesus. This time together is marked by some major Ah-Ha moments and confidence boosters so get your pens ready to take notes and don’t be afraid to hit the rewind button to catch every word he says.
