Welcome to the Confidence in Christ podcast. I’m Kala and I’m here to offer you the opportunity to grow in your confidence of the Lord. Through interviews with friends, simple and practical scripture application to your life and some good old fashion tough love at times, you will be more equipped to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ after hanging out here with us. I’m a woman just like you, who loves the Lord with all my heart and is doing my best to follow his will for my life. Meeting you here weekly and passing on the knowledge he has given me is part of what that looks like. This week we have the awesome privilege of giving you a sneak peek into what is being shared at the upcoming Michiana Women's Conference!
Oct 20-21, 2023 in Sturgis, MI at Radiant Life Church there is going to be a gathering of hundreds of women who are seeking to deepen their roots in Christ. Learning what it means to walk in the spirit, abide in the quiet and be deeply rooted in his holy word. For the next 3 weeks we are going to chat with each of the speakers who will be sharing at the conference so if for some reason you can't make it, you are still learning some great practical tips on how to deepen your roots with Jesus.
First up is Jennifer Smith, the founder of Alabaster Heart Ministries, the ministry doing the conference! She is an artist, writer, ministry leader, wife, mother, new grandma and wonderful friend. She has a passion to help women encounter Jesus in ways that will draw them closer to the Lord.
At the conference she will be sharing about being deeply rooted in the Spirit. She gave us some of the highlights from what she will share and I personally think they are great steps that we could take even today!! It's never too late to grow in your relationship with Christ and learning what it means to be deeply rooted in the Holy Spirit is a big step in that!
