In this episode, we talk about how hard it can be to see God's goodness when things are tough. Many Christians feel like their faith is a roller coaster, with times when God feels very close and other times when He feels far away. Jack knows what that's like. By looking at the lives of faithful people from history, he has found strong reminders of God's unchanging truths.

Episode Highlights:.

  • Sin Explained: Jack explains that sin is the good things that God made, but twisted by the devil. Knowing this helps us see the true nature of sin.
  • Why Jesus Died: Jack reminds us that Jesus didn't just die so we could go to heaven. He died so we could know God personally.
  • Caring Like God: As we get closer to God, we start to care about the things He cares about. This changes how we see the world and what's important to us.

Key Takeaways:

  1. We need to embrace ALL of God's attributes.
  2. Sin is good things twisted by the devil.
  3. Jesus died so we can know God now.
  4. Getting closer to God changes what we care about.
