Confidence in Christ
Welcome to the Confidence in Christ podcast. I’m Kala and I’m here to offer you the opportunity to grow in your confidence of the Lord. Through interviews with friends, simple and practical scripture application to your life and some good old fashion tough love at times, you will be more equipped to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ after hanging out here with us. I’m a woman just like you, who loves the Lord with all my heart and is doing my best to follow his will for my life. Meeting you here weekly and passing on the knowledge he has given me is part of what that looks like. I’m so honored that you’re here and I can’t wait to help you get to know God in new and exciting ways!

Christian Mom Life: What Your Kids Really Need From You with Special Guests Lilli & Coleman
THIS IS OUR 500th EPISODE OF THE PODCAST!!!!
How exciting to watch God move in this amazing way! Thank you for being a part of this journey!
As a special treat, I invited my own kiddos on to the podcast to get a little inside scoop for all of us momma's out here just trying to do our best. I wanted to hear from them what they really need from me, their mom, so that you, a mom, can get a glimpse into what your own kids need!
As anticipated... their responses were funny yet sincere and very much unprompted!! The way kids see things are so differently and taking a little time to have our eyes opened to their perspective can give us so much insight as to how to meet them where they are. I pray that this conversation encourages you, challenges you, and reminds you that even the smallest acts of faith and love are seen—by your children, and by God. You are doing a great job mom!! Don't give up!
Key Takeaways
- As mom's listening well is one of the most important things we can do
- We don't have to have all of the answers
- Mom's that take time to be with the Lord are more likely to pass that on to their children
- Being there for our kids no matter what shows them our love for them, and cuddles are always a good idea
- When we mom's talk with our kids about their struggles, it's less about giving them all the answers and more about helping them understand why something happened, talking through their emotions & knowing how to do better next time
- Our kids really do know that we have feelings, they just don't always say something about it
